News Countdown Timer

The News Countdown Timer puts a live countdown to the next high-impact economic news right on your MT5 chart — so you’re never blindsided by a spike. High-impact releases like Non-Farm Payrolls, CPI and rate decisions cause sudden, violent moves and spread blow-outs; this tool makes sure you always see them coming. It reads MT5’s built-in Economic Calendar automatically (no manual entry) and counts down to the next event that matches your filter, showing the currency, event name, impact level and a countdown that ticks every second. The release time is shown in both broker time and your local time, and the countdown colour escalates as it approaches — calm green when far off, amber as it nears, red when imminent. A list of upcoming events sits below, a dashed line marks the news time directly on the chart, and a pop-up alert fires a set number of minutes before the release. For high-impact events it also reminds you that spreads often widen around news. Filter by importance (High, or High + Medium) and by currency (this chart’s pair or all majors).
